CV Beatrice Hunt M.A.

Beatrice Hunt is sole proprietor and founder of BE Consultants International, a cross-cultural communications consulting firm located in Berlin, Germany and Seoul, Korea.

Beatrice has more than 12 years of experience in intercultural communications having worked in several multinational organizations including positions at the Embassy of the United States of America in Berlin and the German Pharmaceutical Research Based Industry Association. Ms. Hunt organized and managed conferences and industry-to-government meetings in support of the international corporate community. Following her career in government and various NGOs, Beatrice established her own business and has continued to share her knowledge and experience on how to manage and improve business and personal relationships in key markets, particularly the countries and markets of the Middle East.

Ms. Hunt has lived for over five years in the Middle East, and she has since January 2008 resided in the Republic of Korea. She has conducted and organized seminars on cross-cultural awareness at chambers of commerce, medium sized companies and universities in Germany, Kuwait and Korea. Throughout her career as an intercultural trainer, Beatrice has advised and counseled business executives from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her clients include: General Electric, United Technologies, Pratt and Whitney, Honeywell, and the American University of Kuwait. Together with her Arab business partners, she consults medium-sized companies in Germany for their market entry in the Arabian Gulf countries. Beatrice attends professional development seminars offered by The Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication in Portland/OR, USA. In April 2011, Beatrice was again elected Vice President of the German Club Seoul (www.germanclubseoul.de).

Ms. Hunt holds a Master of Arts degree from the Free University of Berlin (arts and literature). Beatrice is a German citizen. Ms. Beatrice Hunt speaks German and is proficient in English, French and Spanish. Beatrice also has a working knowledge of Turkish and has begun studies of the Korean language.
